What have I been up to lately?
I’m happy to announce that I have opened up my online jewelry shop! I’m so excited to be creating these pieces and I’m looking forward to forming all of my new ideas and dreams into reality. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a particular curiosity for rocks and all things nature. I create jewelry that focuses on highlighting different types of gemstones. Wearing these items around your neck is a perfect way to carry a piece of the earth’s beauty with you everywhere you go. Each piece is one of a kind as no two stones are exactly the same. All pieces are made by hand in Chicago.

While I mainly focus on jewelry these days, I also love working with many other materials, plants, food, paper, wood, string, fabric, and clay (to name a few)! I love making useful things of all types. I’m interested in how things work and what it takes to make it. Make what? Well, pretty much anything, I want to know how it’s done and maybe even try to create it for myself. I hope to share more about it with you!
I have merged my old food blog, Hold the Onions with this new site in the beginning of 2015. Hold the Onions was mainly about making food and growing things which are 2 of my main interests, but I wanted to share about more! So here we are working our way through life.
MeanwhileB is about learning and making and doing. It’s about projects and creativity. It’s about finding my way around this world and documenting the processes involved. The possibilities are endless!
